India Post GDS Eligibility Criteria 2022
The eligibility criteria for India Post GDS Recruitment 2022 is as follows:
Age Limit: the minimum age of the candidate applying for the post should not be less than 18 years. The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 40 years as on 27th January 2022.
Educational Qualification: The minimum qualification required for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak is 10th Standard from the approved state/central govt. GDS qualification is important. Candidates who have cleared the class 10th examination in the first attempt will be considered eligible. No weightage will be given to the candidates possessing any GDS qualification higher than the mandatory qualification.
Computer Knowledge: The candidate who wishes to be a part of the Indian Post should have computer knowledge and should have a basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute.
Knowledge of Cycling: Candidates should know about cycling for all the GDS posts.
Language of Local Knowledge: Candidates should have studied the local language of the state, i.e. up to 10th standard.
